The Carbon Market Development Team is responsible for establishing Melbourne as a leading centre for carbon market services in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on both carbon trading and the carbon abatement markets.
The Carbon Market Development Team is part of the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (DIIRD), Victoria’s lead economic and regional development agency. DIIRD performs a range of activities including developing innovative industries, trade development, attracting investment and facilitating a competitive business environment.
