This section discusses the laws regulating binding financial agreements. These type of agreements remain fraught with difficulty and there have been several cases dealing with various aspects of financial agreements. Agreements can be further complicated by international elements. The section also discusses NZ subpoenas, in the context of recent legislative changes and their impact on the cooperative scheme with Australia.
