A new Section Editor has joined the team for the Journal of Law and Medicine.

Dr Danny Sullivan has joined as the Section Editor for the “Medical Issues” Section. Dr Sullivan is the Assistant Clinical Director of the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health. He is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychology and Psychiatry at Monash University. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in issues relating to medicine and the law.

The Journal of Law and Medicine publishes top-quality academic articles about issues that have a legal, medical or bioethical focus. It encourages informed discourse about contemporary issues from empirical, practical, policy and theoretical perspectives. It received an A ranking in the Australian Research Council’s Excellence in Research for Australia project in 2010, which proves its strength as a leading academic publication focussing on the intersection between law and health.
