Located on the fifth floor of\u00c2\u00a0a converted 19th\u00c2\u00a0century woolstore in Pyrmont, Sydney,\u00c2\u00a0our humble little library boasts a massive 6700 titles in its automated catalogue, with a further 590 archival boxes of historical material.<\/p>\n<p>With so much content, it&#8217;s little wonder that the floor under the library had to be structurally reinforced to support the weight of all those books!<\/p>\n<p>Some interesting facts about our editorial library:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The oldest books are hand-bound English law reports from the early 1800s \u00e2\u20ac\u201c nearly 200 years young!<\/li>\n<li>The most extensive journal in the collection is our very own\u00c2\u00a0<a title=\"The Australian Law Journal\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.thomsonreuters.com.au\/journals\/category\/journals\/the-australian-law-journal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Australian Law Journal<\/em><\/a>, which has chronicled the Australian legal landscape since 1927. Now in its 88th volume, the Journal (<a title=\"Australian Law Journal Reports headnotes: brought to you by our local FirstPoint Team\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.thomsonreuters.com.au\/journals\/2014\/05\/21\/australian-law-journal-reports-headnotes-brought-to-you-by-our-local-firstpoint-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">along with its Reports<\/a>) commands a highly impressive 14.5 metres of shelf space!<\/li>\n<li>It is a deposit library for Thomson Reuters, meaning that it holds a copy of almost everything ever published by Thomson Reuters. As well, it is an extensive legal research and reference library in its own right, with a general personal and professional development collection for staff use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We love our library, and we don&#8217;t know what we&#8217;d do without it!
