Thomson Reuters is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Richard Ingleby, who joins Dr Anthony Dickey QC as co General Editor of Family Law Review<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Dr<\/a><\/p>\n

Dr Ingleby is a member of the Victorian Bar and an interstate member of the Western Australia Bar. He specialises in appellate matters and complex financial cases.<\/span><\/p>\n

He holds degrees including\u00c2\u00a0D.Phil. October 1987, Wolfson College, Oxford;\u00c2\u00a0LL.M. June 1984, Trinity Hall, Cambridge;\u00c2\u00a0B.A. (Jurisprudence) June 1983, (M.A. 1987), University College, Oxford.<\/p>\n

Dr Ingleby is currently an Honorary Fellow of the Law Faculty at University of Western Australia and has previously had academic or visiting appointments at\u00c2\u00a0North China University of Technology;\u00c2\u00a0Deakin University;\u00c2\u00a0The University of Melbourne;\u00c2\u00a0Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, Wolfson College, Oxford;\u00c2\u00a0Ohio State University; and\u00c2\u00a0Manchester University.<\/p>\n

He has also written 3 books:<\/p>\n

In the Ball Park: Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Courts<\/span> Australian Institute of Judicial Administration, Melbourne: 117pp (1991);<\/p>\n

Solicitors and Divorce<\/span> Oxford University Press, Oxford: 200pp (1992);<\/p>\n

Family Law and Society<\/span> Butterworths, Sydney: 420pp (1993);<\/p>\n

and co-written (with HUNTER, R., and JOHNSTONE, R.,) Thinking About Law: Perspectives on the History, Philosophy and Sociology of Law<\/span> Allen and Unwin, Sydney: 254pp (1995).<\/p>\n

In addition Dr Ingleby has contributed book chapters and articles in professional texts and academic journals published in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

He was the National Examiner for Family Law Specialization Accreditation in 2011 and 2013.<\/p>\n
