It includes searching capabilities, a generic ebook reader, an EPUB editor and internet links to find and retrieve metadata. Calibre will recognise external reading devices and allow their books to be transferred to and from a PC. It can be used as a server to provide access to an ebook collection on a local network or over the internet.
