The August 2011 issue of the Building and Construction Law Journal promises an interesting array of material regarding building and construction law in Australia. The first examines aspects of the anti avoidance provisions in Australia and New Zealand, the second discusses the role that the trustees’ right of indemnity plays in tax analysis and the third looks at the problem of “predicting the past” in tax avoidance disputes.
The Winter 2011 issue of Workplace Review contains interesting material on a wide range of topics relating to workplace legislation. The Part includes articles on right of entry provisions, the approach to remedies for unfair dismissals, the recent decision in Laing O’Rourke (BMC) Pty Ltd v Kirwin and a look at the planking craze and what it means for the workplace, plus much more.
The latest issue of the Insolvency Law Journal contains an interesting mix of material, including articles on such diverse topics as the history and development of bankruptcy, jurisprudence concerning the legitimacy of fixed charges over receivables and the role of the ATO in insolvency law. There is also a Recent Developments section and a Report from New Zealand.
