Capturing developments in local government policy and practice

Incorporating the Local Government and Planning Law Guide

About the Journal
The Local Government Law Journal (ISSN: 1324-1265) is your guide to local government issues and trends affecting operations in each State and Territory of Australia. The broad scope and coverage concentrates on providing current information on the changes in the Australian local government arena. Articles and notes give guidance in interpretation and analysis of local government legislation. It also includes expert analysis and commentary on local government and planning decisions from around Australia in the form of detailed case notes.

One of the benefits of this publication is that it provides a forum for discussion of developments in the practice and administration of local government responsibilities. Each issue includes “Policy and Practice”, a section comprising commentaries on current topics including recent court decisions and legislation from various jurisdictions.
