Professor Niki Ellis is adjunct professor at the Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR), a collaborative research initiative of WorkSafe Victoria, the Transport Accident Commission and Monash University. Niki is a leading Australian consultant in organisational health and safety, especially in emerging issues including work design and health; stress, productivity and health; and evidence-based practice in compensation medicine. Niki was formally the Inaugural President of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Head of Preventive Strategies, Australian National Occupational Health and Safety Commission, Chair of the New South Wales WorkCover Medical Advisory Committee and a member of the World Health Organisation’s expert panel on occupational health. She was recently appointed as an Honorary Fellow of the Safety Institute of Australia and is a significant contributor to occupational health and safety publications throughout the world.
